Bureau County Resources

E-mail Lists: In the past, this site used a Rootsweb E-mail List, but those lists were offline entirely for seversl months. Not everything has been restored as yet. Here is the link to the Bureau Co., E-mail List. I am personally unaware of any other reputable e-mail lists. If you know of one please e-mail the County Coordinator and I will include it in the E-Mail Resources.

Message Boards: The only message boards I am aware of anymore are at Ancestry. Here is the Link to theBureau County Board. I have not received any notices so I am not sure how active this board is.
Facebook Groups: There are numerous Illinois and Bureau County Facebook Groups and Pages, far to many to list here. To find a Facebook Group of Page, type Bureau County Illinois Genealogy in the search bar on your Facebook page and chose to see all.
Google Groups: I was unable to locate a Bureau County Genealogy Google Group. If you know of one please e-mail the link to the County Coordinator.
